Welcome to my page of corewar.
Corewar is game for skillful programmers in which two (or more)
programs compete for control of a virtual machine.
Not very descriptive, huh? Imagine a virutal core, a unprotected
memory, containing, let's say, 8000 bytes. Into this memory two
programs, assembled from RISC-like set of instructions, are loaded.
And then the battle begins. Programs execute their code one after
another till one of them tries to execute an DAT instruction. Bam,
the battle ends and the winner remains.
OK, I may not be the best one to describe that thing. Not to
mention this has been already described in many guides. This page
is not dedicated to newbies but to ones who know something (even
just a bit) about corewar. All those who are unfamiliar with
corewar, redcode, things, should check Philip
Kendall's 'Getting started in Core War'.
