| In 2001 38 GM, both men and women, and 60 IM, both men and women, participated in A tournament. Average ELO of the first 10 players was 2571, average ELO of the whole tournament was 2313. 2 GM, 10 IM and 1 WIM norms were achieved. In B tournament 274 players (69%) had ELO FIDE. The overall number of players participating in tournaments, including accompanying tournaments, was 2059 players form 39 countries. |
| Accompanying programme: small football tournament, table tennis tournament for youngsters and adults, viewing of board games, trips, rich possibilities of bathing in two modern aqua parks |
| Prize fund of the whole festival amounts to 540.000 CZK (about 17.000 EUR) !!! |
| Starting fee: GM, IM, WGM and WIM in all tournaments free, others according to type of tournament from 5 EUR/tournament upwards, 25% discount for youngsters up to 18 years, pensioners from 65 years upwards and women |
| Accommodation: will be provided in the hostel, University dormitories and selected hotels at the price from 4 EUR/person and night upwards. |
| Board - meals: prices of meals in festival restaurants are from 1,50 EUR upwards |
| Discount system: for all participants and people accompanying them a discount system in selected shops and restaurants will be introduced again. |
